My partner is crime today is Elizabeth Mazyck (also of Montgomery) who makes beautiful handcrafted jewelry, as “Montgomery travels to Auburn” for an Art and Jewelry Show today from 5-7pm :). Elizabeth and I are excited to take our gig out on the road, as we share some new pieces of work before the holiday rush begins.

Trunk Show Wrap-up

The Parish Shoppe Trunk Show was such fun! As always, it is a real treat to see the inspiring ways that the ladies of Ashley Gilbreath Interior Design can whip together a series of vignettes that tell a lifestyle story. It is my privilege to work along side this talent and get the behind-the-scenes footage on how they bring a design dream to life through the use of accessories and artwork.

Artworks that are still searching for their permanent home 🙂 are both on display at Parish Shoppe, of Montgomery AL, as well as in my studio and here on the website. If you missed the show, but are interested in the scenery… here are a few pieces of eye candy from the show. If you see something you like, let me know! Likewise, I would say it is still worth a stop by Parish if you are in the neighborhood!

Trunk Show Time at Parish Shoppe!!!!

It’s time! Tomorrow kicks off the Parish Shoppe Trunk Show featuring Vintage Green Jewelry and my artwork of OneBirdsNest. The ladies of Parish very sweetly came to me today to transport all of the art that will be featured at their shoppe through Saturday…and boy, oh, boy was it a truck load!

I’m thrilled to debut some brand new works that have been long in the making. From bright, dramatic pieces to serene and neutral there is a wide range of work that reflects the summer- fun, relaxing, and always an adventure!

If you are in the Montgomery area in the next few days, stop by Parish. I peeked in this evening as they were busily hanging and arranging. There is art and jewelry galore installed into their notably cool and enticing design aesthetic.

I am so VERY behind in making this post, but I could not be more appreciative of the support I have received from the Raleigh, NC community!

Last month, Timeless LLC, in North Hills started to showcase a few of my artworks. This partnership has been exciting and fun; and, new OneBirdsNest pieces are being shipped to this precious store all the time to replenish what has sold.

Portraits Inc. Art Show April 13-14, 2015 {Montgomery}

I am pretty excited to be included in this fantastic show for two reasons:

1. It’s always great to have exposure in the art market …. and it’s even better to sell a few things along the way if you can. 🙂

2. I have now had the privilege of seeing a variety of SUPER talented portrait artists works, which was like the sweetest music to my mommy ears!

If you are in the Montgomery area and have some free time on April 12th or 13th, Stacie Haynes (Portraits, Inc. rep) and I would love to have you stop by and view the inventory. Example works of the portrait artists are on display and sample price sheets are available.

I, myself, have pieces big and small which are available for purchase but not yet made public outside of this show.

RSVP’s The List

RSVP Magazine’s “The List” is a compilation of young professionals and business leaders the publication views as movers and shakers in the Region. BOY OH BOY, was I taken aback when they asked if I would agree to be highlighted in the March/April issue. Of course my answer was YES!!!!!!

I am sincerely honored to be featured in “The List”, and so very thankful for the sustenance the Community has provided me through their support and trust in my talents. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!

It is a beautiful thing to be able to grow a passion. Each day of this journey brings new lessons and new joys. Each piece of art that flies the coop of OneBirdsNest carries a little piece of my heart.

And on that note… new inventory will hit the site in the next week. So be on the lookout!

The Gifting Season

Wedding Gifts, Bridesmaids Gifts, Graduation Gifts, Mother’s Day Gifts, Birthdays and Showers….

Spring seems to bring a plethora of events to celebrate! Everyone loves a good party, but finding the right gift can sometimes be challenging.

I, myself, have been in that situation many of times. I want the right gift: one that will be appreciated, one that won’t be duplicated, one that is affordable.

I feel very honored and touched when I am contacted for gift-able artworks. These smaller pieces of work are as unique as their larger siblings. They can be strong in color, neutral and serene, religious, or scenic. Colors are customizable, as are their sizes. Messages and bible verses may be added to the back, upon request. And, gift wrapping along with art records and title may be added. Shipping to the gift-er or gift-ee is readily available.

It would be my pleasure to help you celebrate the loved ones in your life!
